The Upper Room

The Upper Room is arguably the most important room in human history. In this room, Jesus Washed the discples' feet. He instituted the Lord's supper. Here, Jesus taught wonderful truths and prayed his high priestly prayer.

After his Resurrection, Jesus appears to his disciples in this upper room, and days later, the disciples will be filled with the Holy Spirit when he comes on the day of Pentecost. Is there any other room in human history with a better pedigree.

In this series, Pastor Steve will dive deeply into John 13-17 and unpack the events, Jesus' teachings, and his prayer from The Upper Room.

Our resource this month is The Case for Easter by Lee Strobel.

Written in a hard-hitting, journalistic style, The Case for Easter probes the core issues of the resurrection. Jesus Christ, risen from the dead: superstitious myth or life-changing reality? The evidence is in. The verdict is up to you.

We want to send you The Case for Easter as our way of saying “Thank you!” when you make a donation during the month of March.

The author of this gospel is the Apostle John, one of the three "inner circle" disciples: Peter, James and John. This 11 day reading plan will lead you through the upper room teachings of Jesus, the night before His betrayal and death, and includes the last two "I am" statements. This study will help you reflect on the life and ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
